First meeting of Undergraduate Radiology Societies Association a success

Thursday 9 June 2016

Medical student representatives from radiology societies around the UK attended the successful inaugural meeting of the Undergraduate Radiology Societies Association (URSA) on Thursday 2 June.

Following a welcome by College President, Dr Giles Maskell and the undergraduate lead Dr Fahmid Chowdhury (pictured), delegates received presentations from College members around training and working in radiology, the role of the association and career development being undertaken by the College.

Each society also had a chance to present details of the events and work they are currently undertaking. The day produced a wealth of ideas for society activity and allowed delegates to share good practice as well as providing a valuable networking opportunity.

Information for undergraduate societies about the benefits of URSA membership and how to join can be found here.
