New Deputy Editor appointed for Clinical Oncology

Dr Kamal Thippu is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist based in Cambridge and an Affiliated Assistant Professor at the Department of Oncology, University of Cambridge, specialises in lung, prostate, bladder and oligometastatic cancers. He underwent Clinical Oncology training in Cambridge and undertook a doctoral research fellowship in Surrey leading to an MD as well as completing an MSc in Oncology at the Institute of Cancer Research, London. He completed proton beam therapy and SRS fellowships. His research interests include technical radiotherapy, radiotherapy trials, and AI in RT. He authored several scientific papers and book chapters, also an educator and mentor for oncology residents. He has served as an Assistant Editor of Clinical Oncology for many years before appointed as Deputy Editor.
