Interventional radiology curriculum
Aim
To meet patient and service need by ensuring that trainees develop the capabilities necessary to sub-specialise in vascular and/or non-vascular interventional radiology or diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology.
The curriculum provides a training framework, describing the standard required to achieve sub-specialty CCT and the expected levels of progress throughout training. A document mapping the 2021 curriculum outcomes to the competences in the 2016 curriculum is available to support trainees in identifying how activities completed under the 2016 curriculum provide evidence of progress against the capabilities in practice in the new curriculum.
