The Royal College of Radiologists elects Dr Nicola Strickland as President 2016-19

Fellows of the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) have elected Dr Nicola Strickland as the next President of the College. Dr Strickland will take over from the current President, Dr Giles Maskell, at the College’s AGM on 14 September 2016. Nicola Strickland is a consultant clinical radiologist at Imperial College, London.

Dr Strickland said:

"It is a great honour to be elected to this office and I look forward to serving the College and the Fellows and members over the next three years."

Dr Giles Maskell, President of the RCR, said:

"I warmly congratulate Nicola on her election as the next President and wish her every success in leading our two specialties over the next three years.”

The RCR President is elected for a period of three years by the College’s Fellows who are in good standing and resident in the UK.
