RadReach Steering Group Members (x3) in Clinical Radiology and Clinical Oncology

Role Overview

RadReach is an initiative established to promote equity, inclusion and widening participation across our specialities. The RadReach Chair provides strategic leadership for the programme, overseeing its development, delivery and evaluation. Working closely with the Steering Group and supported by the RCR Professional Networks team, the Chair leads the annual RadReach engagement day and acts as a senior ambassador for the initiative within and beyond the College.

Key Responsibilities

Being a member of the steering group will allow you to contribute to the development of the annual RadReach programme. This includes the annual engagement day, webinar series and supporting the mentoring cohort.

Responsibilities include supporting recruitment and reviewing and scoring applications. You will also be able to contribute to impact and evaluation reports and broaden professional networks. Members are also expected to attend meetings and contribute to decisions between meetings when required.

Who Can Apply & Time Commitment

We are recruiting for:

  • One Clinical Radiology member/Fellow
  • One Clinical Oncology member/Fellow
  • One current or previous RadReach mentee

Applicants must reside in the UK.

Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, an interest in mentoring, and the ability to work collaboratively. We particularly welcome applications from individuals with lived experience of widening participation.

This is a voluntary role with a three‑year term. Members are expected to attend three meetings per year (online, and if possible the RadReach annual engagement day (in-person)
