Fairer Training Fellow - Reverse Mentoring (x2)

The College is seeking two resident doctors (1x Clinical Radiology, 1x Clinical Oncology) to be the next cohort of Fairer Training Fellows – Reverse Mentoring programme. This national, voluntary role offers an opportunity to lead and shape the RCR’s reverse mentoring scheme where the resident doctor acts as the mentor to the more senior doctor supporting equity, inclusion and diversity across our specialities. You will design, deliver and evaluate the next cohort of the programme, helping to strengthen leadership insight and improve training experiences.

• Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of the RCR reverse mentoring programme
• Recruit, support and retain mentors and mentees
• Develop guidance and resources to support meaningful mentoring relationships
• Engage with key stakeholders across the RCR, including trainee forums, senior officers and staff teams
• Facilitate induction, review and evaluation meetings
• Gather feedback and produce a final report with recommendations for future cohorts

Resident doctors who are:

• Clinical Radiology ST3+ or Clinical Oncology ST5+
• Members or Fellows of the RCR
• Reside in the UK

The role is voluntary, and runs for 18 months, with support from the RCR Professional Networks team and Lead Mentoring Advisor.
