Following the success of our inaugural courses earlier this year, we are delighted to announce an extra date in July 2024.
This blended learning course combines opportunities for peer-to-peer interaction with online self-paced e-learning material. The course if for radiologists and allied healthcare professionals at any level of training or experience who want to gain a global overview of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in radiology and what it means for the specialty.
12 CPD credits will be awarded on completion of this course. Please note this event will not be available to view on-demand post event.
Learning objectives
- Reiterate learner’s current knowledge and understanding of AI and clarify what AI, ML and DL means and the differences between each
- Provide an overview of AI techniques and applications
- Understand what is meant by ‘a use case’ and ‘ground truth’ and other terminology
- Discuss examples of AI for medical image analysis and imaging and AI for data analytics and data mining
- Understand the process of producing an AI algorithm
- Explore the common pitfalls and considerations when building AI models
- Understanding data sources and bias

This workshop will be delivered using Zoom. Access to the e-learning modules will be sent within five working days once delegates have registered for the course when bookings open.
