Values & strategy

Our values

The RCR's values guide how it achieves its aim of improving the quality of care in clinical radiology and clinical oncology for the benefit of patients and the public. These values underpin how the RCR interacts with its membership and stakeholders and how it works internally. Those who act as ambassadors of the RCR are expected to demonstrate these values in all they do for the RCR.

People focus

We treat everyone fairly and with respect, actively listening and responding appropriately, while recognising individual differences.

Integrity

We are open, honest and transparent. We strive to reflect and learn from experience in every area of our work to deliver the right outcome.

Making a difference

We strive for excellence. We make a difference by setting standards and empowering our membership and our staff through personal development and lifelong learning.

We recognise that patients’ best interests underpin everything we do, with equality, diversity and inclusion a core part of the College.

The Compact below has been developed to enhance collaborative working across all College activities as well as to support the priority for and commitment to wellbeing for Fellows, members and staff alike.
