Why this role exists
The Portfolio Pathway (formerly known as CESR) is a key route to the Specialist Register. The Portfolio Pathway Committee's purpose is to assess applications submitted through this pathway and make recommendations to the GMC regarding individual applications for Specialist Registration in radiology or oncology.
Your role will be to evaluate whether applicants have the relevant knowledge, skills and experience (KSE) for entry to the Specialist Register, or outline what more needs to be done to meet the required standard. The role involves providing clear, evidence-based recommendations, contributing to panel discussions and maintaining confidentiality.

Applicants are asked to submit a short CV and a brief statement outlining their relevant experience and how these meet the attributes listed above. Please include details of your specialty interest areas as well as your RCR membership number.
Please submit your application to the WDAT Operations Manager by 5pm on 22 May.
Applications will be assessed by the Chairs of the CR/CO Portfolio Pathway Committees and the Medical Director Education and Training of the Faculty. It will be ensured that no member of the selection panel has a conflict of interest with any applicant. It is not anticipated that it will be necessary to hold interviews.
