Shape the future of digital learning in radiology and oncology

Are you passionate about digital learning and medical education? Would you like to shape the future of digital learning for radiology and oncology professionals? If so, we invite you to join RCR Learning as a Digital Learning Author! 

Background

The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is redeveloping its digital learning library to support lifelong learning for Fellows and members worldwide. Our new platform will offer a curated selection of high-quality, interactive educational resources across clinical radiology and oncology specialties. As a Digital Learning Author, you will play a vital role in designing, writing, reviewing, and quality-assuring e-learning resources aligned with specialty curricula and strategic priorities. 

Clinical Radiology 

  • Sub-specialty: Breast; Cardiac; Chest; Gastrointestinal; Gynaecology; Paediatrics; Vascular & Interventional; Nuclear Medicine; Physics 

Clinical Oncology 

  • Site-specialty: Anatomy; Lower Gastrointestinal; Head & Neck; Gynaecology 
  • Contouring Atlas and Contouring Practice Exercises 

As a Digital Learning Author, you will: 

  • Collaborate with Sub-Specialty and Site-Specialty Leads and the RCR Learning team to scope and review digital learning resources for your area(s) of expertise. 
  • Write and review clinical content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with curriculum standards. 
  • Work with the RCR Digital Learning team to adapt material into engaging, learner-friendly formats. 
  • Support quality assurance by reviewing draft content and providing constructive feedback. 

Person Specification

We are seeking individuals who: 

  • Have demonstrable experience or a strong interest in medical education and digital learning. 
  • Are team players, willing to collaborate with faculty leads, learning designers, and other authors. 
  • Can commit voluntary working time to meet agreed project timelines. 
  • Are enthusiastic about sharing expertise and supporting the professional development of peers. 
  • Can communicate complex clinical concepts clearly and effectively for a digital audience.
