Clinical Oncology Clinical Courses Portfolio Lead

We are seeking a Clinical Oncology Courses Portfolio Lead to oversee the development, delivery and strategic direction of this portfolio.

In this role, you will guide Course Leads, ensure course quality and alignment to professional standards, and help shape new initiatives that respond to workforce and service needs. Your leadership will support oncologists across the UK and internationally through high-quality, clinically relevant education.

This role will support our mission to support clinicians throughout their careers by providing high-quality learning that reflects modern oncology practice. Our Clinical Oncology Courses portfolio delivers essential contouring, planning and practice-focused training that equips clinicians with the skills they need to provide safe, effective cancer care.

Applicants must

• Be Fellows of the RCR (by examination)
• Hold a current GMC licence and be in active UK clinical practice in Clinical Oncology
  
• Have a strong understanding of the Clinical Oncology curriculum and clinical training pathways
  
• Demonstrate leadership, educational insight or experience supporting professional learning and course development

The tenure for this role is three years, with an estimated maximum commitment of eight days per year. This includes meeting attendance, course oversight, and review activities.

The role offers flexibility, with work undertaken remotely and full administrative support provided by the Royal College of Radiologists Learning team.
