Role Overview
Our Clinical Oncology meetings portfolio provides essential opportunities for oncologists to share best practice, explore new developments and build professional networks.
We are now seeking a Clinical Oncology Clinical Meetings Portfolio Lead to provide strategic leadership across this programme.
In this role you will guide meeting leads, maintain the relevance and quality of the programme, and support innovation that strengthens learning across the specialty. Your contribution will ensure that oncologists benefit from focused, engaging and up‑to‑date professional education.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be Fellows of the RCR (by examination)
- Hold a current GMC licence and be in active UK clinical practice in Clinical Oncology
- Have a strong understanding of the specialty landscape and subspecialty learning needs
- Demonstrate leadership, educational insight or experience supporting contributing to or delivering educational meetings
Time Commitment
The tenure for this role is three years, with an estimated maximum commitment of eight days per year. This includes meeting attendance, course oversight, and review activities.
The role offers flexibility, with work undertaken remotely and full administrative support provided by the Royal College of Radiologists Learning team.
