Evidence to support your membership application

If incorrect or incomplete documentation is provided with your initial membership application, once corrected and resubmitted, your membership application will again be subject to the initial 15 working days processing time.

All documents must be provided in English. Where necessary a notarised translation will suffice.

Member in training

Evidence of your specialist training role:

This can be a letter from your Human Resources department confirming you are currently on a training scheme. It should show your job title, the department you work in and the length of your course.

We are unable to accept documents if they are over 3 months old and do not specify the length of the training scheme you are enrolled on.

and

Registration with GMC or your local governing medical council.*

Member (non-training)

A postgraduate certificate in either radiology or oncology

Evidence of your current job role

This can be a letter from your Human Resources department confirming your current job role and the department you work in. We are unable to accept documents over 3 months old.

and

Registration with GMC or your local governing medical council.*

Associate (non-training)

Evidence of your professional role:

This can be a letter from your Human Resources department confirming your current job role and the department you work in. We are unable to accept documents if they are over 3 months old.

and

Registration with GMC or your local governing medical council.*

IPEM Associate

Evidence of your professional role:

This can be a letter from your Human Resources department confirming your current job role and the department you work in. We are unable to accept documents over 3 months old.

and

Confirmation of IPEM membership

*Registration with your local governing medical council must be dated within the last year or show the date it is valid to unless you can easily search for it online in English.
