QSI Quality Mark Successes

The Colleges are pleased to announce the services which have achieved the QSI Quality Mark.

The QSI Quality Mark scheme was established jointly by the College of Radiographers and the Royal College of Radiologists in July 2024. The Colleges are pleased to announce that the following services have achieved the award of the QSI Quality Mark. This means that the services have undergone a rigorous peer review process, which evaluates the services provided by the organisations against the Quality Standard for Imaging    to award the Quality Mark. The Quality Standard for Imaging set out the standards for design, delivery and development of safe, effective and patient-centred imaging services.

The Colleges would like to offer their congratulations to the organisations listed below.

What does award of the Quality Mark mean?

These organisations have demonstrated that they have met a set of standards determined by experienced professionals from the Colleges, and following extensive consultation with stakeholders. This award can give patients greater confidence in the quality and effectiveness of the services offered, their systems and the staff skills and teamwork. 

The award of the Quality Mark also reflects the Colleges’ confidence in services to continue to improve quality, sharing and learning from good practice and keeping up-to-date with the latest innovations and guidance. The patient can therefore be reassured that they will receive and continue to receive the best possible care.  

The Colleges are committed to proving targeted supported to the organisations who have signed up to this robust but supportive scheme and look forward to working in partnership to maintain the high standards achieved. We recognise the hard work and collective effort of the whole imaging service that goes into attaining this. The skill and professionalism that radiologists, radiographers and other scientific, clinical, technical and support staff bring to delivering crucial imaging services for the benefit of patients is of vital importance. 

Use of the QSI Quality Mark

The award of the QSI Quality Mark or Working Towards status reflects the assessment of the services offered, and the evidence available, at the point at which the review was undertaken.
