(published September 2023) – this contains advice on the training records needed by clinical oncologists to support their roles as operators and practitioners under the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations.

(published September 2023) The Appendix contains an example of a clinical oncologist training record which can be downloaded and adapted to reflect local practice.

(published September 2021) - this short statement highlights the steps that should be considered by departments when implementing paperlite or paperless working in radiotherapy. While not a comprehensive guide, it outlines many of the factors that should be considered.

(published June 2021) - this report describes and recommends the best evidence-based practices for image-guided radiotherapy, together with guidelines for how departments may implement and/or optimise image-guidance processes locally.

(published June 2020) – this provides a practical approach to implementing the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017 for all staff groups delivering a range of radiotherapy services including molecular radiotherapy.

(published September 2015) - this contains recommendations for the management of patients with cancer who have a cardiac implanted electronic device and are receiving radiotherapy. It is currently under review and a new edition will be published in 2023.

(published June 2015) - this reviews the issues to consider when increasing provision of radiotherapy by extending the working hours of departments. It outlines potential options and the associated practicalities to be addressed when expanding radiotherapy capacity through increasing working hours and/or days.

On 6 February 2023 the Radiotherapy Board hosted a one-day meeting for Operational Delivery Networks (ODNs) and the devolved nations to discuss and address the key challenges facing the radiotherapy workforce. Drawing on those discussions, it has prepared a workforce strategy template to support ODNs and devolved nations in developing their own radiotherapy workforce strategies. Available in Word format, this can be downloaded and adapted for local use, although this is not mandatory

The Radiotherapy Board hosted a workshop on implementing peer review in June 2019.
