Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations: Implications for clinical practice in radiotherapy

This second edition of guidance seeks to explain how the requirements of the amended regulations should be interpreted and used in clinical practice. Updates have been made across the document to reflect changes to service provision and developments in technology. Clinical scenarios have been included to enable practical interpretation of the regulations. In addition, professional guidance for the development of training records for clinical oncologists has been incorporated into this guidance.
