To learn the basic principles of radiology

To learn the indications, limitations and pitfalls of different imaging modalities and interpretation of Radiographs, head CT’s and Thoracic CT’s

Day to include

Chest Radiographs

Thoracic Ultrasound on ICU

Logistics of patient transfer to radiology suite

Computed Tomography on ITU patients

Head CT pathology

Chest and Cardiac C T interpretation: CTPA, ARDS

Who should attend?

All members of multi-disciplinary teams caring for acutely ill patients in areas such as Intensive Care, A&E and Trauma

The course is primarily aimed at medical professionals and Advanced Nurse Practitioners working in acute care areas such as Intensive Care, A&E and Trauma.
