Salary: £38,478 per annum increasing to £42,529 following two years service, plus excellent benefits

We are building our reputation as a leading and expert voice of radiology and oncology in the media and among politicians and policy-makers. Sitting within Communications Directorate, the role of Marketing Officer: Content and Publications plays a key role in ensuring that these views are presented in a way that is engaging, informative and appropriate to the target audience.
The Marketing Officer: Content and Publications will be a clear and captivating communicator who is able to deliver content through a variety of journals, reports, emails and more. Using data you will ensure that the College’s content continually meets the needs of our audience and drives continual improvement.
Internally you will work closely with the Marketing Officer: Brand and Creative and Digital Officer, all reporting to the Brand and Marketing Manager. You will need to build and maintain strong working relationships with elected Officers, the Communication and Engagement Group and the Content Planning Group, all contributing to the planning and of promotion of College-wide activities. The external relationships you will build with journal publishers, other medical royal colleges and professional bodies are equally as important as you will all work collaboratively to present a unified voice.
This is a varied and stimulating role for a talented individual who is keen to use their skills, to help present the message of the College to the wider media. We are looking for someone passionate about our cause and with a good grasp of relevant software systems, ideally with knowledge and experience using Google Analytics and CRM databases. The successful candidate will also need experience in a publishing environment and knowledge of publications, editing and production processes, particularly in a digital environment.
