This modular course will be delivered through several online sessions across two months, and will include options to have practical experience and receive feedback on contouring cases.  Starting in early May with a webinar, you can join us live or watch the sessions on demand over the coming months.

Module 1: Partial breast irradiation, Friday 7 May, 14:00-15:30, 1.5 CPD Credits - registration now closed.

Module 2 - Internal Mammary Chain Radiotherapy Radiotherapy with a focus on Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy, Tuesday 11 May, 14:00-16:00, 2 CPD Credits - registration now closed.

Module 4 - Contouring nodes for breast Radiotherapy, Thursday 10 June, 10:30-12:00, 1.5 CPD Credits - registration now closed.

Module 7 - Target volume delineation following mastectomy, and proton beam therapy, Tuesday 29 June, 11:00-12:30

Modules 3, 5 6 and 8 are self study modules and can be completed in your own time no later than 19 July 2021.

CPD credits

15 credits for the whole course.

Investigators successfully completing the appropriate modules of this course will be eligible for streamlining of the outlining RT QA for clinical trial participation through the Radiotherapy Trials Quality Assurance (RTTQA) Group.  Evidence should be provided by the individual investigator to the RTTQA Group.  The RT QA requirements may vary between trials depending on the protocol specification.  For any queries please contact rttrialsqa.enh-tr@nhs.net.


All sessions will be recorded.  You will have access to these recordings for three months from the live date.  Not attending the live sessions will mean there will be no direct interaction with the course faculty.

The full course discount price is only available when you book at the outset. 

Technical requirements

All sessions will be delivered online, so you will need to be able to access the internet using a web browser.

For the contouring sessions we will be using AQUILAB’s online Share Place platform. You do not need to install any software, however, for the platform to work, please make sure you have:

  • a Windows or Mac laptop with an up to date operating system (for Windows, at least Windows 7)
  • an up to date web browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox are recommended.)
  • a mouse with a scroll wheel
