UK (home) membership categories apply to those resident (on 1 June) in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man

Trainee
AssociateThose undertaking specialist training in clinical oncology or clinical radiology in the UK who have not yet passed the First FRCR Examination.
JuniorThose undertaking specialist training in clinical oncology or clinical radiology in the UK who have not yet passed the Final FRCR Examination.
MemberThose who are in a non-training career grade post in clinical oncology or clinical radiology and have a postgraduate qualification in clinical radiology or clinical oncology other than FRCR (or FFR).

Associate (non- training)

Those employed in a non-training post in clinical oncology, clinical radiology or dental radiology (or a closely associated specialty) who do not have a postgraduate qualification in clinical oncology, clinical radiology or dental radiology.
FellowThose who have passed the Final FRCR Examination.
Fellowship without ExaminationThose who have attained an appropriate level of professional status and who have made a significant contribution to training or practice to either clinical radiology, clinical oncology or dental and maxillofacial radiology in the UK.

Overseas membership categories apply to those resident (on 1 June) outside the UK, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man

JuniorThose in a training post in clinical oncology or clinical radiology outside the UK who have not yet passed the Final FRCR Examination.
MemberThose who are in a non-training career grade post in clinical oncology or clinical radiology outside the UK and have a postgraduate qualification in clinical radiology or clinical oncology other than FRCR (or FFR).
Fellow  Those who have passed the Final FRCR Examination.

Non-practising membership categories

RetiredThose who have retired from all clinical practice.
Life membershipFor Fellows who have retired from medical practice, and who have been a Fellow in good standing for at least ten consecutive years up to retirement.
