Clinical Radiology Academic Committee Vacancies

Applications are invited for the appointment of two members of the Clinical Radiology Academic Committee:

i) a research-active consultant clinical radiologist (who must be a Fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Radiology of the College in good standing) 

ii) a non-clinical scientist involved in imaging research.

The term of office for the appointed members will be three years and will commence in September 2017. The committee normally meets three times a year.

The main roles of the committee are to advise on matters relating to academic development and radiological research and to encourage and foster research in clinical radiology. The committee is particularly keen to support the development of academic pathways for trainees. Further details are available in the Terms of Reference of the committee.

Applications will be assessed by the Vice President of the Faculty in consultation with the Chair of the Academic Committee and Medical Director, Education and Training, of the Faculty; the decision is final and binding. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their applications in late August 2017.
