Clinical Oncology Academic Committee Vacancy

Vacancy for one member

Applications are invited for the appointment of one member of the Clinical Oncology Academic Committee - a consultant clinical oncologist (who must be a Fellow in good standing of the Faculty of Clinical Oncology of the College) 

The term of office for the appointed members will be three years and will commence in January/ February 2018. The committee normally meets three times a year.

A role description is available

The main role of the committee are to advise on matters relating to academic development and oncological research and, to encourage and foster research in clinical oncology. The committee is particularly keen to support the development of academic pathways for trainees. Further details are available in the Terms of Reference of the committee.

Applications will be assessed by the Vice President of the Faculty in consultation with the Chair of the Academic Committee and Medical Director, Education and Training, of the Faculty; the decision is final and binding. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their applications during late December/ early January 2017.
