Vacancies on the Clinical Oncology Editorial Board

Clinical Oncology is the most highly valued member benefit for our clinical oncology Fellows and members. With vacancies available, now is your opportunity to join a dynamic and engaged Editorial Board forecasting the ‘hot topics’ of the future and shaping the content of each issue.

The Editorial Board works under the leadership of the Editor to ensure that Clinical Oncology maintains its reputation as an independent source of high-quality information, not only for Fellows and members, but for researchers around the world. As an Editorial Board member, you would oversee the peer review process for a small number of papers each year, as well as attending two Editorial Board meetings each year (held in London).

We are looking for new Board members who have innovative ideas for the development of the journal. Board members often act as guest editors for topic-based special-issues so a broad network of contacts in research and experts in the field is desirable though the main quality we are seeking is enthusiasm and commitment to ensuring the Clinical Oncology remains at the cutting edge of clinical oncology research.

More information about the Editorial Board, including the current membership and terms of reference is available alongside a role description.

Applications are sought via email to Please include your CV and a covering letter outlining why you would like to join the board and what you would bring to the group. Applications deadline: Thursday 2 May 2019.

Applications will be reviewed by the Editor and Assistant Editors in May.
