This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious HR team, looking to redefine the way human resources adds value to organisations by implementing innovative HR practices and initiatives, allowing the RCR and its people to perform at their absolute best. As a team we value an evidence-based approach in achieving this, utilising data to measure the impact of our work.
We are looking for an individual at the forefront of HR thinking to join the team to support the creation and implementation of a high-reaching HR strategy. The successful applicant will be responsible for a large amount of the transactional HR delivery within the organisation; analysing training needs and creating learning and development plans, helping to run the monthly payroll, evaluating jobs, leading on recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes and providing advice and guidance to managers, amongst other activities. To support this, we are looking for someone with great knowledge of HR best practice and employment law, qualified to a CIPD Level 5 and with two years or more of practical HR experience.
In addition to the transactional HR activities the Junior HR Business Partner will play a key part in gathering intelligence and creating reports to allow us to make evidence-based people decisions. Giving us the best chance to positively affect our employment practices, support and motivate our staff, build capability, and ultimately improve organisational performance.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to get involved with a range of project work with a focus on change management, including the implementation of the HR strategy and the exploration and implementation of a new HR Information System.
As you can tell, we are striving for great things, and want to work with an individual who supports our vision and will work proactively to achieve it. You will not only need to help identify potential barriers to our work but work hard with the team to remove them, ensuring the best result for the RCR and our people at every opportunity.
If this sounds like the opportunity for you then you can find out more about the Junior HR Business Partner role, the RCR and how to apply by visiting the RCR website and reading the Junior HR Business Partner candidate pack (PDF)
