The RCR is a great place to work. At the forefront of the health agenda, our members diagnose and treat cancer, heart disease, stroke and more, whilst leading on innovations including AI, skills mix and community diagnostic hubs. As Covid recedes and the cancer backlog rises up the agenda, our members’ work and views have never been more important. The Communications Directorate is newly formed, and a recent restructure has created two new teams – External Affairs, and Marketing and Digital.
The Marketing and Digital team will be focused on building engagement with our audiences – members, including trainees, prospective trainees, prospective global members, other doctors, patients, and other interested parties. With digital at our centre and a new website project about to start, you will understand the power of digital, along with brand and voice, whilst being an expert in transforming communication channels to increase engagement and bring audiences in to the conversation. You will be creative, but data-driven, embracing innovation and bringing doctors and staff with you.
The Head of Marketing and Digital will lead a talented team of five marketing and digital professionals. With deep experience in digital transformation, content creation and building audiences, you will be passionate about the power of brand, and a strategic thinker who can lead from the front, whilst embedding clear direction, processes and expectations and supporting your team to create real impact.
If this sounds like the opportunity for you then you can find out more about the Head of Marketing and Digital role, the RCR, and how to apply by visiting the RCR website and reading the Head of Marketing and Digital candidate pack.
The closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday 1 August 2021. First stage interviews are due to take place on Friday 6 August, with final stage interviews scheduled for Friday 13 August.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic the interviews for this role will be held remotely via video conference. As part of our emergency response to Covid-19 it is likely the successful candidate will work remotely for a period of time before we complete a phased return back to the office.
