iRefer CDS
The College has produced radiological referral guidelines for over 20 years. The current edition, the eighth, was published in 2017 and is called iRefer. iRefer provides referring clinicians with evidence-based advice on the best imaging tests or investigations to request.

We are working with a technology partner, MedCurrent, to implement delivery of iRefer through Clinical Decision Support software, so that referring clinicians can have access to iRefer as part of their normal workflow. If you would like further information please contact the iRefer Project Manager.
