The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is holding a free whole day meeting for undergraduates. If you are a member of an undergraduate oncology society or have an interest in oncology, you will find this meeting useful, especially if you are undecided whether to specialise in oncology or which oncology. The meeting is great opportunity to network and get to know your peers and potential trainers. A full programme for the day is available below. There will be talks from leading consultants in the field of oncology and a noted trainee. If you ever wondered whether a career in oncology could be rewarding, you will hear an account of the "journey through treatment" from a former patient’s perspective.

How to book

The RCR will arrange your travel and cover expenses to and from the meeting for up to 2 students from each UK medical school (first come first serve). Once registered you will be contacted regarding travel arrangements. Refer to our travel and expenses policy for a breakdown of reasonable travel expenses covered by the RCR. When completing the web form please indicate any special / dietary requirements.

2018 Undergraduate Oncology Meeting
On the 18 May 2018 the RCR welcomed over 60 delegates to the first ever Undergraduate Oncology Meeting. The free meeting was organised for undergraduates with an interest in oncology, and trainees and consultants who are undergraduate leads, or involved in undergraduate oncology teaching. There were seperate sessions for the students and educators and a joint session in the afternoon. The day ended with an awards presentation to the winners of the undegraduate awards and prizes.
