The RCR produces a range of publications including standards for the delivery of high-quality oncology services, guidance on good practice and workforce reports. Electronic copies of the majority of our publications are available to download free of charge, some can also be purchased online. 

Publications are reviewed regularly by the Clinical Oncology Professional Support and Standards Board to ensure that they remain relevant and up to date.

A review of the use of radiotherapy in the UK for the treatment of benign clinical conditions and benign tumours - BFCO(15)1

In response to the varying numbers of patients in some UK radiotherapy departments being treated for benign conditions, the RCR has undertaken an evidence review with the aim of providing clinicians with a handbook to consult when a patient is referred with a benign condition and to help to raise awareness of the wider potential uses of radiotherapy beyond treating cancer.
