Clinical oncology online forums (COOF)

With the development of knowledge and good practice within the specialty becoming increasingly site-specific, the Faculty of Clinical Oncology has established the Clinical Oncology Online Forums (COOF – previously called SOeNs) to act as support and advice networks for clinicians in particular tumour sites, enabling online discussions on topics of clinical interest.

Breast

Disseminate and discuss information about new developments in breast cancer via this COOF

Colorectal

Supporting clinical oncologists in debating optimal care and best practice in the treatment of colorectal cancer

CNS

This COOF provides a forum for discussing issues relating to the management of brain tumours in the UK

Genitourinary

Facilitating communication and the exchange of ideas with colleagues with an interest in GU oncology

Gynaecology

The aim of the network is to provide a forum for members to exchange views on difficult clinical problems and to act as a mechanism for audit.

Head and neck

Share news, opinions and issues with colleagues who have an interest in head and neck cancer

Lung

Discuss new developments or issues that you wish to share with colleagues with an interest in lung cancer treatment

Lymphoma

The aim is that this will provide a useful and stimulating forum for discussion of interesting and topical issues.

Paediatric

This site is active. Please feel free to respond to or start a discussion thread, or email the lead/deputy lead to create a poll.

Sarcoma

This is a forum for professionals with an interest in the management of patients with bone and soft tissue tumours, both nationally and internationally.

Skin

This forum provides a mechanism to respond to consultations, case discussion, polls and to publicise relevant news.

Upper gastro-intestinal

This forum aims to bring together professional colleagues sharing a site specialist interest in upper GI cancer.
