The Faculty of Clinical Oncology runs an annual programme of CPD accredited learning and development activities covering a wide range of topics, specifically targeted at clinical oncologists and trainees but open to other specialties, particularly physicists and radiographers. Conferences take place across the country and provide high-quality, professionally delivered lectures along with the opportunity to network with colleagues and peers. These activities are CPD accredited and certificates of attendance are provided for appraisal and revalidation.

The Faculty is also proud to be involved with the National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) Annual Conference, where the RCR hosts the George Edelstyn lecture, two lecture sessions and offers the Ross Award for the best proffered paper and poster presentations.

The programme of learning activities is developed by the Clinical Oncology Professional Learning & Development Sub-committee and managed and delivered by the College Professional Learning and Development function.
