The College sets and runs the FRCR examinations in clinical oncology.  A range of information regarding the First FRCR, Final FRCR (Part A) and Final FRCR (Part B) examinations, including entry requirements, fees, examination formats, venues and results publication can be found in this section.

FRCR Examinations Review

The full report, statistics and RCR commentary on the 2014 comprehensive review of the FRCR Examinations is available. Following a recommendation from the review, purpose of assessment statements have been created for each examination. These can be found in the seperate examination sections below.

Online Applications

Applications for all Spring 2017 examinations are now closed. Frequently asked questions are provided for further information on the online application process.

Changes to withdrawal and refund policy for 2016 examinations

Candidates withdrawing from an examination entry prior to the closing date will receive a refund of 80% of the fees paid.  Candidates who withdraw after the closing date will not be entitled to a refund and shall forfeit the examination fee. Please note that the College does not transfer fees between examination sittings.
