The pressure on doctors to deliver more service in less time has never been so great. Being a mentee or mentor is a powerful way to build resilience and strengthen coping strategies. As part of the College’s work to develop and support leadership in clinical radiology and clinical oncology, a national mentoring scheme for new consultants has been established.

Committed and enthusiastic individuals are sought for this programme which aims to support new consultants as they move from training programmes to begin their first consultant post.

For full details on the mentoring programme please visit the mentoring page: https://www.rcr.ac.uk/college/getting-involved/become-mentor-and-mentee
