Conference dinner

The RCR17 Conference dinner will take place on Tuesday 12 September 2017 at St George's Hall, Liverpool.

Tickets can be purchased for £60 (addtional tickets can be purchased for the same price). Your ticket includes a three-course meal, arrival drink, 1/2 bottle of table wine and entertainment provided by local covers band Harlequin.

Please note that this is not included in the RCR17 conference registration fee. This dinner is also open to non-RCR17 delegates.

Cancellation

Cancellation and refund policy

Notice of cancellation must be given in writing or by email to the Conference and Programmes Officer: conf@rcr.ac.uk

Delegates wishing to cancel or transfer a place on a meeting:

On or before Friday 28 July 2017 will be entitled to transfer their fee to another meeting within 12 months or a refund minus a £15 administration fee

Between Monday 31 July and Friday 25 August 2017 will be entitled to transfer their fee to another meeting within 12 months or a refund minus a £25 administration fee

On or after Monday 28 August 2017 no transfer or refund permitted.

Plenary speakers

Monday 11 September 

Dame Mary Archer, Chairman of the Science Museum Group will be giving the plenary lecture on the role played by women in science and medicine.


Tuesday 12 September

Professor Alice Roberts, an anatomist, anthropologist and Professor of Public Engagement in Science at the University of Birmingham, will be giving the President’s Lecture.


Wednesday 13 September 

The Blue Skies lecture will be delivered by Professor Pat Price, Imperial College London and Professor Terry Jones, University of California on the development and projected applications of a two metre long, Total Body PET Scanner.
