The Clinical Oncology Patients' Liaison Group (COPLG), established in 1997, provides a forum for the representation of the views of patients and other lay people, and a channel for those views to influence change in the management and care of patients with cancer.
The COPLG undertakes a variety of activities and reports regularly to the Board of the Faculty of Clinical Oncology. It has produced a number of publications for patients. It also provides lay representation on numerous College Committees and external bodies.
