The Pump Priming Grant Scheme is an annual award to provide financial support for the collection of pilot data that will allow a high quality competitive application to be made to a research council.
A maximum of £10,000 will be awarded to any individual project. Pump Priming Grants are awarded by the Academic Committee (Clinical Radiology) on the recommendation of an assessment panel. The number of awards made per year will be at the discretion of the assessment panel.
The Pump Priming Grant Scheme has been re-established following a hiatus. Formerly known as the Small Project Grant Scheme, it was last awarded in 2010.
