Final FRCR Examination

The Final FRCR Examination in Clinical Radiology is in two parts: Part A and Part B. In both parts candidates will be examined on all aspects of clinical radiology (see the syllabus section of the specialty training curriculum).

The Part A Examination also addresses the basic sciences of physics, anatomy and techniques. Candidates who hold a formal clinical radiology training post in which they are actively receiving clinical radiology training (or who have held such a post in the past) and have passed the First FRCR Examination are permitted to enter the Final FRCR (Part A) Examination.

Candidates who have completed 3 years of clinical radiology training and have passed the Final FRCR (Part A) Examination are permitted to attempt the Final FRCR (Part B) Examination.
