The trainee portfolio is an aid to the monitoring and assessment of trainees' progress during specialty training. It is expected that all those undertaking specialty training in clinical radiology will use the portfolio throughout their training.
Trainees should receive their trainee portfolio, either directly from the College or from the head of their training scheme. The personalised pages, bearing trainee name, training number and expected CCT date, are sent to each trainee by the Training Administrator upon completion of the enrolment formalities. Trainees should ensure that they enrol with the College immediately following appointment to a specialty training post.
Replacements or duplicates of the portfolio forms may be downloaded using the appropriate link below. The content of the porfolio has changed over the years, in line with revisions to the curriculum. It is important to ensure, therefore, that the correct version, corresponding with the trainee's start date, is used.
- Forms for sub-specialty training
Only one set of sub-specialty forms has been published; these correspond with the curriculum and sub-specialty curricula published in 2004. Revised special interest (sub-specialty) curricula to support the 2007 specialty training curriculum are in development. Once these have been finalised, a corresponding set of portfolio forms will be published.
